The service
Aurea Studio provides photography sessions in Seoul, Korea. A booking covers the photography service described on the shoot page: a private photographer, the stated shooting time, and the stated number of edited photographs delivered digitally. Hanbok rental and palace admission are third-party costs paid separately unless stated otherwise.
Booking
A booking is one photography session at the date, start time and palace you choose. It is confirmed once your card payment goes through. If you send a request without paying, the booking is confirmed when we reply in writing — we do so within 12 hours — and payment is then arranged directly with you.
Payment
Card payments are processed by PayPal and charged in US dollars (USD); KRW figures on this site are for reference only. Prices are ₩150,000 per adult and ₩80,000 per child aged 15 or under for parties of up to four. From five guests a single flat price of ₩500,000 covers the whole booking regardless of how many people it includes or their ages. Any code applied at booking comes off that figure, and the total is shown to you before you pay. While you pay, your hour is held for 30 minutes; if the payment is not completed in that time, the hold is released and nothing is charged. Your card is charged only when we confirm the payment. If confirmation fails, no money is taken.
Rescheduling and cancellation
Cancel at least 24 hours before your start time and the payment is refunded in full to the card you paid with. Inside 24 hours the payment is not refunded, but you may reschedule once, free of charge, to any open date — write to us on WhatsApp with your booking reference. Palace closures or heavy weather on the day entitle you to a free reschedule or a full refund. See our Refund Policy for the details.
Deliverables and usage
After the session you receive every unedited preview and choose which photographs we edit. The edited photographs are delivered as a digital download within 48 hours, counted from the moment you send us your choice. Choose within 24 hours of the session and the delivery therefore falls within 48 hours of the session itself; choose later and the 48 hours start later by the same amount. If you have not chosen within 30 days we may select the photographs on your behalf so that the booking can be completed. You receive a personal-use license to the delivered photographs; we retain copyright and may use selected photographs in our portfolio and social channels with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time by contacting us.
